One of the simplest PHP frameworks is Slim PHP Framework. The problem with it is the fact that the most of the documentations say that this framework should be installed through //Composer//. But the problem with Composer is that is not so good as, for instance, it is **npm** for **node.js**. And for some Windows configuration Composer is impossible to be installed because of the security.
It is not easy to see that even this framework has some shortcomings. It has 3 or more versions and it is very changed from a version to another. And this is not a good thing for this. Because it is difficult to follow the documentation here to do the first application in SLIM Framework.
